Can I modify or cancel my order?

Order Modifications
Once payment has been completed, orders cannot be amended.

Item additions or removals, size or colour changes, and payment method revisions are no longer possible, as orders enter processing immediately after confirmation.

Order Cancellation
If your order is still in the preparation stage, you may request cancellation by contacting our Customer Care team at customercare@leauphant.com.

Once an invoice has been issued and the item status has moved to fulfilment, cancellations are no longer available. In such cases:

  • You may review the item upon delivery and proceed with a return in accordance with our return policy if it does not meet your expectations.
  • Alternatively, you may decline the shipment at the time of delivery and have it returned directly.

Refunds are issued once the returned item has reached our warehouse and completed the necessary inspection.

Orders Cancelled by L’EAUPHANT
In limited circumstances, orders may be cancelled automatically. This may occur due to stock unavailability, payment verification issues, delivery address inconsistencies, or duplicate order entries.

Should this happen, you will receive a notification email outlining the reason for cancellation.

How can I return an item purchased from Leauphant.com?

Step 1 — Notify Us

Contact us by email within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return. Please include your order number and the reason for return. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted, and any costs incurred will remain the customer's responsibility.

Step 2 — Prepare Your Package

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original resalable condition exactly as delivered — including the original box, packaging, tags, seals, accessories, and invoice. Any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item may be deducted from the refund.

Place the original invoice inside the package. This document is required by Turkish customs to process your return without additional charges.

Step 3 — Ship Your Return

You have 14 days from the date of your withdrawal notice to send the item back via FedEx. We strongly recommend using FedEx for your return, as your order was originally delivered via FedEx. Using the same carrier simplifies customs document matching and helps avoid delays or additional charges at Turkish customs.

Please share your FedEx tracking number with us once your return has been shipped.

L'EAUPHANT cannot assume responsibility for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit when returns are sent using a carrier other than FedEx.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Returns sent on a collect-on-delivery or bill-recipient basis are not permitted. Should such a shipment be received, the shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Important — Customs Declaration

When shipping your return, you must declare the package as "Returned Goods" on the customs declaration form provided by the courier. Include the original order value and a description of the item. Do not declare the package as a gift, a new purchase, or leave the description blank.

Please include the original invoice inside the package.

If the customs form is filled out incorrectly or incompletely, the shipment may be treated as a new import by Turkish customs, resulting in additional duties and taxes. The customer is fully responsible for any such costs, and these will be deducted from the refund. The refund will be processed on the remaining balance after all applicable deductions.

Category-Specific Conditions

Footwear & Boxed Items

  • Shoes should be tried on carpeted surfaces only to prevent sole marks.
  • Footwear, clothing, and all boxed items must be returned in their original, undamaged box — the box is considered part of the product.
  • Items returned without their original box or with a damaged box will not be accepted.
  • Boxed items should be shipped inside a protective outer carton to avoid transit damage.

Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene)

  • Hair accessories
  • Underwear
  • Swimwear or bikinis with removed or damaged hygiene seals

Refund Process

Once the returned item arrives at our warehouse, it will undergo a quality inspection. If it meets our return conditions, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, excluding the initial delivery charges. Processing times may vary depending on banking procedures — you will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

L'EAUPHANT reserves the right to refuse returns of items that have been worn, altered, damaged, or are not in resalable condition.

Can I return a guest order?

Yes.

Customers who placed a guest order may return their items under the same conditions outlined in L’EAUPHANT’s return policy.

Please note that returns sent without prior email notification will not be accepted.

Are returns free of charge?

No. Free returns are not available.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. All returns must be pre-approved — please contact us before sending any item back.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Returns sent on a collect-on-delivery or bill-recipient basis are not permitted. Should such a shipment be received, the shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

When returning an item, the customer must include the original invoice inside the package and correctly mark the customs declaration form as "Returned Goods." If the customs form is filled out incorrectly or incompletely, the shipment may be treated as a new import by Turkish customs, resulting in additional duties and taxes (including 10% VAT on textile goods). The customer is fully responsible for any such additional costs, and these will be deducted from the refund. The refund will be processed on the remaining balance after all applicable deductions.

Failed Delivery

L'EAUPHANT cannot be held responsible for delivery failures resulting from incomplete or incorrect address details, the inability to leave the parcel at the recipient's location, refusal of delivery, or any missing information that prevents successful shipment.

In such cases:

  • If the order needs to be re-shipped to the recipient, all related shipping fees will be charged to the customer.
  • Any additional costs incurred due to incorrect or incomplete address information are the responsibility of the customer.
  • If delivery is refused at the door, the return shipping cost to our warehouse will be deducted from the refund.
How should I care for ready-to-wear, footwear, and leather pieces purchased from L'eauphant?

To preserve the longevity of your L'eauphant pieces, follow the care
instructions provided on each product label. The guidelines below support
proper maintenance and handling.

READY-TO-WEAR
Dry Cleaning

If dry cleaning is recommended on the care label, use a professional service experienced in handling delicate textiles. Report any visible stains before cleaning begins and discuss suitable solvents and methods with the provider to ensure the garment's structure is preserved. Upon collection, inspect the piece carefully to confirm its condition.

Hand Washing

If hand washing is advised, wash gently by hand using cold water and a pH-neutral detergent formulated for delicate fabrics. Allow the garment to rest in the solution for up to five minutes. Avoid twisting, wringing, or scrubbing—move the piece softly through the water instead. After rinsing, lay it flat on a clean towel and allow excess moisture to be absorbed naturally. Do not hang. Once dry, vertical steaming is recommended. Maintain a safe distance between the steamer and fabric to prevent water marks.

FOOTWEAR & LEATHER GOODS

Allow items to rest for at least 24 hours between wears to maintain the leather's natural breathability and form. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, water, and excessive humidity. After each use, wipe the surface gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Store in a cool, ventilated space when not in use.

L'eauphant leather pieces are crafted from natural hides. Subtle variations in texture or tone are inherent characteristics of the material. As with all natural leather, slight pigment transfer may occur over time. This is a natural property of untreated leather and not considered a defect.
